Description:

 An inactivated oil adjuvanted vaccine for pigs against highly pathogenic Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS). It contains at least 6 log10 PRRS virus NVDC-JXA1 strain per 1 ml dose before inactivation.

 Formulation:

 Water-in-oil emulsion.

 Indications:

 Vaccination for pigs to prevent highly pathogenic PRRSV infection.

 Administration:

 The dosage is 2 ml for piglets at 3 weeks of age or older. The vaccine should be administered by intramuscular injection in the back of the ear. Booster vaccination is recommended at 28 days after the initial immunization. The dosage is 4 ml for sows vaccinated before breeding and for boars vaccinated every 6 months.

 Adverse reactions:

 None.

 Precautions:

    1. Vaccinate only healthy pigs.

    2. Before use allow the vaccine to reach room temperature and shake well.

    3. Vaccination equipment and the injection sites should be strictly sterilized.

    4. Precaution for vaccination of pregnant sows to avoid mechanicalness amblosis.

    5. Fervescence and low appetite in some cases will disappear with no special treatment in 2 days after the immunization. Some severe cases should be treated with epinephrine injection together with adjunctive therapy.

    6. Use up immediately in the present day when opened.

    7. Bottles and the residual vaccine should be done with innocent treatment.

    8. No vaccination at 21 days before slaughter.

 Presentation:

 20 ml/bottle, 100 ml/bottle.

 Storage:

 Store at 2°C to 8°C (in a refrigerator), avoid freezing. The validity period is 12 month.
